Next session starting Tuesday, September 7th……school is back in session and it’s time to round up the kids again!

Tuesdays for 6 weeks starting 9/7/2010- classes are from 6:45pm-7:45pm

Limited space available- sibling discount available

Underground Fitness  is helping to foster a generation of healthy, fit individuals who require limited assistance & enjoy freedom of movement & activity throughout their life…………...these are our children…………….

Introducing T.U.F.kids
Your child’s workout will consist of exercises containing elements of flexibility, balance, coordination, and strength during each fitness session.
The workouts are random and seek to develop body control early in life, preparing children for the challenges they will face in sports, play, and (eventually work)

T.U.F.kids is a program for your elementary aged child(ren).  They will enjoy a fun, fitness class once a week for 6 weeks.

    It’s fun! I was sore today though and had to do some stretches.

  • I know it was so fun i cant wait until next weeks class where we do our 1st official WOD(workout of the day) :)

    TUFkids ROCKS! My favorite part was doing the deadlifts.

    The boys are really enjoying their time in the class (Lucas especially). I think this is really good for him and hope that it gives him a boost to help in his sports! :)

    Crossfit Rules! The rowing machine is my new favorite exercise.

    What a great first session of TUF kids. Hope that you get to publish some of the boys’ results. :)

    First class of our new session today! We have a very high energy group that worked very hard on day 1- Welcome to Nate, Griff, Jacob, Aidan, Skye, Rowan, and returning TUFkids River, Lucas, and Owen. Can’t wait to see you guys again next week!

  • I hate that we had to miss the first day of the new session last Saturday…… can’t wait to get back into class and work hard this Saturday!

    Warm-up
    Skill: SQUAT
    WOD: 10 box jumps, 10 squats, 10 pushups (x 5 rounds)
    Game: Musical Medicine Ball

    Wasn’t feeling very good yesterday, so that was a tough day.

  • Owen, you did a great job. Thanks for putting your best foot forward even when you were feeling ill. You’re fun to have in class!

    Requests are coming in for our next session- if you have friends that may be interested or if current TUFkids want to continue in the next session, let your coaches know- we’ll skip April due to spring break, expect a new class in May!

  • This week we learned a modified hand-stand push-up and lunges. Finally we were able to go outside in the sunshine and so the snake-run!
